Now I have had a rest I am raring to go! We all know what the weather was like on Wednesday, no more to be said. I had promised a young lady called Michelle I would stay with her all the to the end. She seemed a bit nervous and was a bit shocked with the lovely grey puddles but I told her to just run though the puddles but she was not too happy. However next time round she realised she had just got to get on with it. I know it took a long time but we were both pleased with her finishing. The reason why I stayed with Michelle was that there was no back up and there was a shifty looking man hanging around the trees. My time was 55.44
Severn Valley 5k trail race. 8th June.
This race was held at the Severn country park in Alveley and is the second year it has been held. It was one and half laps and some very nasty hills to climb. We ran across a footbridge, then as we were running through the woods the steam train was making a lot of noise, I am not sure whether it was telling me to get a move on but it was a lovely sound. The weather was getting hotter,the last bit was very hilly and then it was on to the finish. It was a good challenge but I would do it again.
